VHS/DVD Combo: “Tuner Not Included”?

I’m trying to purchase a SIMPLE video/dvd player&recorder and am stymied by a “tuner not included” disclaimer on the equipment. My television set is Sharp from 1999. I’m not prepared to upgrade to the 2009 HD yet (I may be moving overseas and do not want to invest in much). All I want is the VHS piece to be able to record from TV signal, and for DVD to play on the TV. What are my options?

Marky is not correct. If it says tuner not included, then the onlyb way you can record is to feed in a signal from a cable box, satellite box or some otherr device that has a tuner. If you can’t do that, then keep searching for one with a tuner.
