Effects Pedal Cord

What comes with a guitar effects pedal? I’m clueless and buying online.?
yeah, I’ve been thinking about getting an electric guitar & a distortion pedal online. So…what actually comes with the pedal? A cable? and does it run on batteries? does it come with a 9v cord, or do i have to buy one?
i’m thinking of buying a Danelectro D-3 FAB metal effect pedal
yeah, im clueless
Usually just the pedal itself. Most run on batteries or with an adapter.

Carl Martin EchoTone Delay Guitar Effects Pedal $462 The Carl Martin Echotone delay guitar effects pedal may just be the only delay pedal you ever need. Imagine switching from a Manual time setting to a Tap time setting right at your feet, so you can play with your favorite slap-back echo on rhythm to a Tap (tempo), and set echo for that massive lead or solo. Combine this echo flavoring by installing a chorus, flange or even distortion pedal in the insert loop, and the switchable trail function at bypass and you get an echo effect pedal of unbelievable sound and dimension. The Carl Martin delay pedal's Echo switch activates or bypasses the Echotone, indicated by the LED on the unit being activated. Please note the Echotone is not true bypass, it features a high-quality buffered bypass, to ensure long cabling without loss. The delay pedal's Select switch lets you choose between the manual time setting and the Tap Tempo function. This function allows you to shift between two presets easily. The Tap Tempo lets you set the delay time simply by tapping the desired tempo on the Tempo switch with your foot (tap a minimum of two times or more as the Carl Martin EchoTone guitar pedal will always set the tempo after the last two taps). With the Manual time function chosen on the select switch you set the desired delay time on the chicken-head knob. Turning it clockwise creates faster delay time, while turning it counterclockwise produces longer delay. The Carl Martin EchoTone pedal's Echo knob lets you mix between dry and wet; the Feedback knob lets you choose the amount of echo you want; and the Tone knob lets you adjust the voicing on the repeats, from dark position in full counterclockwise to light in full clockwise. The tone will only affect the repeats, not the overall sound from the guitar. With the delay pedal's Loop you can insert an external effect device, like a chorus, phase, overdrive pedal, or EQ. With this you can either color or modulate the echo in a multitude of different ways with really cool results. Once again, the sounds produced in the loop only work on the repeats, not on the overall tone coming from the guitar. Inserting a modulation effect into the loop requires you to regulate the echo and feedback to lesser settings, as the feedback can go into oscillation if left in the same setting without modulation. The delay pedal's Trail switch lets guitarists choose whether you want trails on or off when in bypass mode. Trails are the echo ringing out when you bypass the effect pedal, in off position the effect stops immediately when bypassed. As with all the Danish built Carl Martin effects, the Echotone delay pedal comes in a low-profile housing, coated in a stunning off-white color, with a built-in 12v (+/-) regulated power supply. The Carl Martin Echotone's built-in power supply has an attached power wall plug cord, to run only on main power, not 9V battery or 9V adapter. |

Maxon True Tube Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal $262.5 The Maxon TOD-9 Overdrive Pedal doesn't just sound like a real tube amp—it gets as close as you can to that sound with real tube, making this the True Tube Overdrive. The TOD-9 pedal features a US Military spec subminiature tube at its core. Subminiatures are the final frontier of vacuum tubes, as the supply of quality vintage tubes is rapidly dwindling. Used extensively during World War II, subminiatures were largely abandoned by 1955 in favor of transistor technology, leaving a healthy stock of quality NOS product behind. To create its lush overdrive tone, the TOD-9 overdrive pedal blends this subminiature tube stage with a solid-state distortion circuit. Unlike other tube overdrives, the TOD-9 employs a unique "pre-tube" circuit configuration, where the tube comes before the solid-state distortion circuit in the signal chain. By cascading the tube stage into the distortion stage, a more realistic tube-amp tone is achieved. The result is a warm yet powerful guitar tone that is extremely interactive with the player's performance and responds exactly like a hard-working tube-amp.Both the tube and solid-state sections of the circuit are fed with 30 volts DC thanks to the TOD-9's internal voltage regulators. Running the circuit at higher voltages provides a more consistent tone with increased headroom and dynamic response. The performance of the tube is kept stable and reliable thanks to Maxon's unique heater inrush current control, which feeds the tube with a lower startup voltage to extend tube life. The complex multi-voltage operation of the TOD-9 overdrive prompted Maxon to develop a unique power supply for this model—the AC2009. The AC2009 provides very consistent high current that is regulated and filtered to provide stable, noise-free power to the TOD-9's circuit. The AC2009 is auto-sensing, so it can be used anywhere in the world by simply changing out the detachable plug cord on the output side of the power supply.Like all Maxon Nine Series models, the TOD-9 guitar pedal features mechanical true bypass switching for direct, unaltered signal in bypass. |
