Chrome Metal Guitar
Do metal pickup covers change the sound of a guitar?
I have a Paul Reed Smith guitar with two humbuckers and i have two chrome pickup covers. I want to put them on for the better appearance, but not if it changes the sound.
I want to know if there will be a difference before i put them on because it seems like they would be hard to remove.
yup there will be …it will sound tinnier if that makes sense…sound brassier….more metallic….less natural …if you dont want to change it’s sound i would suggest not putting them on
